Introduction
The Uxmal site is a rectangular area, about 600 meters wide from east to west and over 1000 meters long from north to south. The buildings within the site are mainly distributed along the north-south axis with a very well-planned layout. The famous House of the Magician is located within this site, which is a 39-meter-high Maya temple. This temple is built on an elliptical base with one side having a gentle slope that has been repaired. The entrance is in the shape of a giant mouth of the rain god Chac.
