Introduction

The Santo Domingo Temple, built between 1570-1608, is an ancient church with earthquake-resistant capabilities. The church has thick stone walls and its facade features intricate baroque carvings, including a sculpture of a Spanish monk who was the founder of the Dominican Order. Inside the church, there are impressive three-dimensional reliefs adorning every corner.
