Introduction

The Church of Santa Maria della Spina, located next to a bridge on the banks of the Arno River, is a very exquisite building. This church, adjacent to the riverbank, is one of the smallest churches in Pisa. Built in the 13th century, this church adopts a rich Gothic style, and the sculptures on the roof and walls of the church are still vivid. After visiting the magnificent cathedral or square, admiring this unique and delicate small church is also a special experience.
