The secluded paradise hanging on the cliff

In addition to the magnificent village scenery, the Cinque Terre also has a hiking trail that spans five villages and is built along the coast. The entire trail is about 15-20 kilometers long, with the beautiful view of the sea on one side and the magnificent mountains on the other side, attracting many hiking enthusiasts to come for pilgrimage.

Monte Rosso Town – Aurora Tà

In the 16th century, Montenero built 13 towers to fight against maritime invaders. These towers have a long history and have witnessed centuries of wind and war. Now, only the Aurora Tower still stands on the village's mountain peak, and locals call it "Tower on the Sea Peak" (Torre al picco di mare). Although the Aurora Tower is now private property and cannot be visited, tourists can admire this historic landmark up close along the mountain path.

Santa Fe Beach, Jijinaw

In the summer, the sea surface has strong winds and high waves, so the Santa Fe Kina Beach has become a world-famous surfing destination. There is also a pedestrian path along the beach leading to the ancient Monte Rosso fishing village through a tunnel. The beach is full of umbrellas like an artificial rainbow, stretching all the way to the foot of the distant mountains. Beach chairs can also be rented for 10 euros each.

Via dell'Amore - Road of Love

A small path on the sea cliff between Manarola and Riomaggiore is known as "Via dell'Amore" or "Lover's Lane". It is about 1 kilometer long and part of the Cinque Terre trails. A flat road is cut into the not-too-high cliff, with rocky mountains on one side and the waves of the Ligurian Sea on the other. Every day, countless couples hang locks with their initials on the "modernist" kissing statue found on the path. There is also a tunnel halfway through the path, where various romantic messages are written in different languages.

Manarola - San Lorenzo Church

In the city center of Manarola, walking up from the central square and passing through the charming hostels and inns, you will find the Church of San Lorenzo. The church is composed of three different buildings (the Old Sacristy, the New Sacristy, and the Royal Oratory), each representing different architectural styles and historical periods, with the Old Sacristy being built by Bruynelleschi.

St. Margaret's Church

St. Margaret's Church is one of the landmark buildings of Vernazza, built in the 13th century, facing the sea, and has an octagonal bell tower 40 meters high. Every evening at 9 o'clock, tourists can participate in the candlelight procession of the church, with candles sold for 50 cents each, which can be seen everywhere on the streets in front of the sanctuary. The choir will sing hymns in multiple languages multiple times.

Kornia - St. Peter's Church

St. Peter's Church is also a Gothic building, built in the 14th century, but it is very well preserved. Inside the church, visitors can enjoy the magnificent landscape of the coastal terraces. In addition, the interior of the church is decorated in the Ligurian Gothic style, and there is also a beautiful marble rose window.
