Introduction
The Musicians Retirement Home is located on the west side of Piazza Michelangelo, built in 1896 and personally advocated by the famous composer Verdi. It is a place for artists who have retired after their glorious moments and need a place to settle down in their later years. In the center of the square stands a statue of Mr. Verdi, commemorating his outstanding contributions. Mr. Verdi's tomb is also located inside the Musicians Retirement Home.
