Introduction

The Technology Museum, named after Leonardo da Vinci, was originally a 16th-century monastery but was destroyed by shelling during World War II. After the war, the current building was constructed and completed in 1953. The museum mainly collects da Vinci's artifacts, including models and design sketches. These exhibits not only showcase da Vinci's innovative imagination in science but also include many of his designs proposed to solve practical problems. For example, the design of the dredging ship is used to solve the problem of canal siltation, and its dredging shovel shape is roughly the same as modern ones. The design sketch of da Vinci's bicycle has the same chain structure to drive the rear wheel as modern ones. His ideal urban building drawings and models are also very grand. Visiting here, you can certainly immerse yourself in da Vinci's innovative world.
