Introduction

The Boboli Gardens is a historic Roman-style horticultural garden that is famous worldwide. As early as the beginning of the 14th century, the Boboli Gardens was the private courtyard of the most prominent aristocratic Medici family in Florence. On every holiday, the Medici family would hold grand music parties in the courtyard, and high-ranking people hoped to be invited to enjoy the music and cuisine of the chefs. Being invited to the Boboli party was a symbol of prestige at the time.
