Introduction

Mürren is a small mountain village located on the west side of the Jungfrau region, facing Grindelwald. It is situated on a cliff in the Lauterbrunnen valley, full of alpine charm. Due to the prohibition of gasoline engine vehicles, Mürren can maintain its rustic mountain village atmosphere and has refreshing air. To reach Mürren, travelers can take a cable car to Grutschalp and then transfer to a train, or take a postal bus to Stechelberg and then a cable car up the mountain. In Mürren, visitors can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery of Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger, but also visit the starting point of Schilthorn.
