People who have been to Emmental, Switzerland, almost always believe that it is the most beautiful place in Switzerland. The hole-y cheese that Jerry drools over in "Tom and Jerry" is called Emmental cheese. To protect the diversity and traditional characteristics of cheese, Swiss national law stipulates that a region can only produce cheese from that region.
