Introduction
The University of Bern can trace its roots back to the theological college in 1528, and was officially established in 1834 with a history of almost 200 years. It is worth mentioning that the University of Bern was one of the first universities in Europe to admit female students. Currently, the University of Bern is composed of eight faculties, namely the Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Human Sciences and Faculty of Science.
