Introduction

The House of Knights, built between 1641-1674, is located in Stockholm's Old Town and was originally used to store the collections of Swedish nobles. The building features Dutch-style classical architecture and is decorated lavishly inside. Many architects, including Simon de la Vallée and Heinrich Wilhelm, were involved in its construction. Today, the House of Knights not only opens to the public but also functions as Sweden's most prestigious upper-class social club, where all Swedish nobility gather every three years.
