Take you into the churches of Stockholm

Visited Stockholm but never went to a church, that would be a waste. The following churches are very famous in Stockholm, if you still don't go, it's really not justified...

Knight's Island Church

The Knight's Island Church has a long history and is one of the most famous churches in Sweden. Some of the buildings even date back to the 13th century and it has been the funeral church for Swedish monarchs throughout history. Many kings of Sweden are buried inside, including Gustaf V who passed away in 1950. Visitors can see the coffins of many kings while inside.

Stockholm Cathedral Storkyrkan

The official name of Stockholm Cathedral is St. Nicholas' Church, which is the oldest church in the old town of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and an important example of Swedish brick Gothic architecture. It is adjacent to Stockholm Palace and is the western endpoint of the main pathway leading to the palace, the Palace Slope.

Katarina Church

The Katarina Church is a church located on the island of Stockholm, built in 1695 and rebuilt in 1995 after several fires. Many Swedish celebrities have been buried here and the organ is worth seeing.

St. Jacobs Church

The Saint Jacob's Church is located in the city center of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, surrounded by the King's Garden, the Royal Swedish Opera, the Gustav Adolf Square, near the Sergels torg, the Stockholm Palace, and government offices. It has various architectural styles, such as Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque.

S:ta Clara kyrka

The Klara Church is a church located in the center of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. The church was built in the 1280s. During the reign of Gustav Vasa in 1527, the old church was destroyed. The current church was built during the reign of John III in 1572. The Klara Church is located near the train station and is difficult to capture its full view due to its location in narrow streets and alleys. The Queen's Street is just outside the Klara Church.
