Introduction

This 18th-century Russian Orthodox church is located on the north side of Kirov Square. The enchanting white walls and green roofs complement each other. The stone church was built in 1706 and completed in 1710. It is located in the center of Irkutsk and is also the center of the city's history. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that there is a huge icon on the exterior walls of the church, which is unique in the Siberian region.
