Introduction

Zhen Dong Tunnel, also known as Shishan Gun Emplacement, is located on the north side of Meiren Mountain in the northeast of Kinmen. This fortified and hidden emplacement effectively controls the sea area in the northeast of Kinmen and is a rare tunnel-style artillery emplacement in Taiwan. During the visit, there is a chance to witness the spectacular military training exercises conducted at the gun emplacement.

Take Bus No. 25 from the station outside the mountain to the Shanhou Station, then go on foot or take a taxi to arrive.
