Introduction
Zhaishan Tunnel is located southeast of Gugang Lake in Gugang Village, Kinmen. It is an A-shaped bunker waterway. The waterway was excavated in 1961 to meet the needs of war and took five years to complete. Zhaishan Tunnel is mainly used for landing small boats for wartime replenishment, and it also has a docking pier inside. The interior of the tunnel was manually carved and has an engineering scale comparable to Qintian Hall. Outside, there are surging waves and rushing tidal sounds. Since July 1987, Zhaishan Tunnel has officially opened to the public and a management station has been established, becoming a tourist attraction worth visiting. Transportation You can take bus No.6 at Jincheng Station towards the direction of Old Jincheng, and get off at Gu Gang Station or Gu Gang Hu Station.
