Introduction

The Tsing Ma Bridge is one of the famous landmarks in Hong Kong. It is named after "Tsing Yi" and "Ma Wan" and has a total length of 2.2 kilometers. It is also one of the longest suspension bridges in the world that can be used for both road and railway traffic. The main cable is made of about 27,000 tons of steel wire, and it is said that the total length of these wires can circle the earth four times. In 1999, the Tsing Ma Bridge and nine other buildings were selected as one of the top ten buildings of the 20th century, alongside the Panama Canal, the English Channel Tunnel, and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. At the Tsing Yi Lantau Link Viewpoint next to the bridge, you can enjoy magnificent views of the entire Tsing Ma Bridge and Ma Wan area.
