Introduction

This Buddhist temple, located on the way to Borobudur, serves as a guiding light. Discovered in 1834, the surviving reliefs and statues are still preserved in their original beauty, without any damage, making it worth a visit. The temple is divided into two parts. The first part is free to visit, displaying Buddha statues from various countries, blending styles from Japan, India, Thailand, and more. The second part requires an entrance ticket, but it only consists of a tower and a large banyan tree, both important elements of the temple.
