Introduction
Mysore Palace is located in the center of Mysore city in India and is one of the largest palaces in the country. It was burned down in a fire in 1897, but was rebuilt by British architects in 1912 for 4.2 million rupees. The building is said to be modeled after Buckingham Palace in England, with some of the outer layers of the domed roof decorated with gold, making it even more beautiful and sparkling. The interior design of the palace is grand and majestic, with huge domed doors and neatly arranged colonnades, all decorated with colorful patterns and classical motifs, and the carpet has Islamic colors. The palace houses a variety of sculptures and exquisite murals. Its roof towers are exquisitely elegant. Address Sayyaji Rao Rd, Mysuru, Karnataka
