Pink Sands, A Pink Paradise with Softest Sands
Pink Sands Harbour Island Dunmore Town, Bahamas

Introduction
Located on the east side of Harbour Island, the pink sand beach is considered a beloved vacation destination and top diving spot in the United States. This beach is famous for its fine sand and clear water, particularly for the pinkish sand grains on Coral Island. Surrounding the beach are 25 vibrant-colored luxury villas that offer an ultimate experience for vacationers.
The white sand beach is formed by coral reefs, while the pink sand comes from the island's unique foraminifera, a type of single-celled organism that is almost invisible to the naked eye. These foraminifera attach themselves to the rocks around Harbour Island, and their shells appear in red or bright pink. When waves or fish hit the rocks, these foraminifera fall off and eventually wash up on the beach, turning the sand pink. When the ratio of pink sand reaches a certain proportion, the originally white sand beach turns pink and is therefore selected as the world's most sexy beach by Newsweek.
