Introduction

The penguin gathering place located in Cape Town, also known as Boulders Penguin Colony, is the preferred spot for observing penguins. It is estimated that about 3,000 penguins reside here. The period from February to August each year is the season for hatching baby penguins, where a responsible group of penguin parents can be observed; while November to December is the molting season for penguins, during which they swim vigorously to change into new feathers. No matter when you visit, you can enjoy different penguin appearances. In addition, this rocky beach is also a habitat for other bird species, whales, seals, sharks, dolphins, and various marine life, providing a visual feast.
