Introduction

Table Mountain, a iconic landmark of Cape Town, South Africa, has a flat peak resembling a table. It stands at an elevation of 1086 meters and is adjacent to Lion's Head and Signal Hill, as well as Devil's Peak. During the summer months (October to March), large amounts of moisture rise from the mountain and collide with the cold air, forming clouds and creating a mysterious layer of mist that covers the entire Table Mountain, creating a fairy-tale-like atmosphere. Locals describe it as God's "tablecloth" spread over the land, preparing for a feast! Since 1929, a cableway that is 1220 meters long has been operating, allowing visitors to easily reach the mountaintop. Sitting in the comfortable cable car, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view as the car rotates during the ascent.
