Introduction
Jianshui Ancient City, formerly known as Lin'an, was built in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1200 years. There are more than 50 well-preserved ancient buildings in the city, known as the "Ancient Architecture Museum" and "Residential Museum."
The ancient city is not large, with Lin'an Road as its core, and the streets are clean and tidy. The most famous attractions are the Wen Miao Temple and Zhu Family Garden, as well as many exquisite and unique ancient buildings.
Affordable hotels and hostels are good choices for those who want to stay in the ancient city. Tourists can also visit Zhu Family Garden to experience the feeling of old-fashioned housing, but need to prepare enough expenses.
In the streets of Jianshui, the fried tofu cake is a common snack. A few small vendors sit on small stools, around a fire pit, grilling small pieces of tofu until they turn golden brown. Address 266 Lin'an Road, Jianshui County, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China
