Introduction
Zhao Ming Academy is located within the Xizhang Scenic Area and was the reading spot of the Crown Prince of the Southern Liang Dynasty during his stay in Wuzhen. Within the academy, there is an ancient gate from the Ming Dynasty inscribed with the words "Six Dynasties Heritage" and "The reading spot of the Crown Prince of Liang with Minister Shen", becoming a landmark for tourists to take photos. The gate is surrounded by a pond and ancient trees, where tourists can enjoy the scenery or visit the exhibition hall displaying various ancient plaques and literary works of winners of the Mao Dun Literature Prize.
Another must-see place in the academy is the reading room. The environment of the reading room is elegant, and although there are not many books, there are quite a few related materials about the ancient town and water village. Additionally, there is a special counter for the works of Mu Xin and Mao Dun, making it a niche destination for book lovers.
