Introduction

The capital ruins of the late Shang Dynasty, Yin Xu, has been confirmed as the first capital in Chinese history. Its discovery and excavation rank first among the "Top 100 Archaeological Discoveries" in 20th century China. Yin Xu preserves a large number of precious historical relics, such as bronze, stone, bone, and jade artifacts. The most famous of which is the Simuwu Quadripod, a bronze vessel weighing 875 kg, the largest and heaviest bronze vessel discovered in the world.
