Introduction

The Longgong Scenic Area, with karst geology as its main characteristic, offers a variety of landscapes including caves, waterfalls, canyons, peaks, cliffs, rivers, and stone forests. It includes four major areas: Longgong, Youcai Lake, Xuantang, and Maliao, and is one of the few places in the world with the most and most concentrated water and dry caves and the lowest natural radiation dose rate. In addition, the Longgong Scenic Area also has other stunning karst landscapes such as the underground dark river cave, the largest cave temple in the country-Longgong Guanyin Cave, the largest waterfall in the cave-Longgong Dragon Gate Waterfall, and the rotating water wonder of Xuantang. Every spring, visitors can enjoy the beauty of rapeseed flowers, while winter brings a unique feeling of cold outside the cave and warmth inside the cave.
