Introduction

Nairobi National Park is a national park located 7 kilometers south of the Kenyan capital Nairobi. Established in 1946, it is Kenya's first national park. The total area of the park is 117.21 square kilometers, with an elevation between 1,533 and 1,760 meters. Within the park, visitors can observe wild animals such as African buffalo, baboons, black rhinoceroses, leopards, and lions. During the dry season, many herbivores also gather here. Additionally, Nairobi National Park is also one of the most successful rhinoceros conservation areas in Kenya. It is worth mentioning that the park is separated from the city of Nairobi by only a fence, so visitors can even enjoy the high-rises of the city from within the park. Nairobi National Park provides visitors with a wildlife conservation education center, which offers lectures and videos on wildlife, park tours and animal welfare for children, students and local organizations, which are popular among visitors.
