Introduction

The Temple of Loyalty and Righteousness, also known as the Temple of Song Yue Zhong Wu Wang, was built to commemorate the renowned Southern Song Dynasty general Yue Fei. The temple is grand and magnificent, with exquisite stone carvings that leave one in awe. Facing south, the central hall houses a seated statue of Yue Fei, exuding an aura of heroism and bravery. On the lintel of the main entrance hangs two inscriptions, "Divine Might in a Hundred Battles" and "Loyalty and Spirit Endure," inscribed by Emperor Guangxu and Empress Dowager Cixi of the Qing Dynasty. These inscriptions further enhance the majestic appearance of the statue of Yue Fei. The street in front of the temple is a replica of ancient architecture, with shops featuring wooden signs and plaques selling various snacks and souvenirs. Visitors can tour the Temple of Yue Fei and explore the Yue Fei Street, immersing themselves in the cultural atmosphere of the hometown of a national hero.
