Introduction

Hala Lake, located in the inland basin of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is a relatively large saline lake, as well as the second largest lake in Qinghai Province. The lake area contains multiple lakes that hold water year-round. The roads to Hala Lake are mostly gravel roads or small roads crushed by vehicles, winding through the high mountain ridges of the Qilian Mountains, with constant beautiful scenery along the way.
