Introduction
Yuanyang, located in Yunnan Province, China, has two urban areas: the historic Old Town Xincheng and the newer New Town Nansha. Xincheng is situated on a steep slope over 1400 meters above sea level, and is known as the hometown of clouds. During the winter and spring seasons, the cloud sea envelops the mountain town and the Red River valley at night, coexisting with the Hani people in their dreams. In the morning, the combination of golden sunlight and white clouds creates a magnificent scene. The mountain city, surrounded by clouds and mists, appears and disappears like a dream, like a fairyland. Therefore, it is known as the "Cloud Mist Mountain City."
