Introduction

The Luoyang Museum of Ancient Art is one of the largest museums in China dedicated to ancient tombs, and is also the world's first museum with a theme of ancient tombs. The museum is divided into three exhibition areas: typical tombs from different dynasties, the exhibition of the tombs of the Northern Wei emperors, and the exhibition of the essence of ancient tomb paintings. The museum houses dozens of tomb chambers from different periods in China, all of which have been relocated and displayed in their original underground settings. Here, visitors can get a close and multiple perspective understanding of the internal environment of ancient tombs, such as tomb architecture, murals, and unearthed artifacts.
