Introduction

The highest peak of the eastern part of Kunlun Mountain, Yuzhu Peak, is surrounded by many peaks of about 5000 meters, and modern glaciers exist on both the north and south slopes. For beginners, the mountainous terrain of Yuzhu Peak is very suitable for climbing, with clear routes and relatively low difficulty, but the height of the base camp is relatively high, reaching an altitude of 4800 meters. The north slope of Yuzhu Peak has complex terrain, including ice cracks, ice towers, ice steep slopes, and blade-shaped mountain ridges, which are very suitable for large-scale mountaineering training. The best climbing season is from May to September, among which May has strong winds, and July or August has more rainfall, so late June or late August to early September is a better climbing time.
