Introduction
The Nanhai Guanyin Statue is a famous landmark on Mount Putuo, with a towering height of 33 meters that can be seen from many places on the island. Tourists can reach the foot of the statue to admire its majestic figure up close. On sunny days, the statue shines brightly in the sunlight, displaying both brilliance and humility. The height of the Buddha statue is 18 meters, the lotus platform is 2 meters high, and the pedestal is 13 meters high, plus the small mountain underneath the pedestal, adding to the grandeur of the Guanyin Statue. The Buddha Square is located below the statue, with a 4 to 5 meter-high incense burner, which is said to bring good luck after touching it.
