Introduction

Bixia Temple is a holy site of the Quanzhen Taoist sect, located on the southern side of the peak of Mount Tai and dedicated to the goddess Bixia Yuanjun. It comprises twelve magnificent and ancient buildings including the main Bixia Yuanjun Hall, topped by 360 copper tiles symbolizing the circumference of the heavens. When sunlight shines on the bright copper tiles, it creates a mystical atmosphere with brilliant golden reflections.

Transportation
[External Transportation] 1. Take bus routes 14, 19, 45, k37, k3, k49 and get off at Hongmen station to reach the entrance of Taishan Hongmen. 2. Take bus routes 19, k37, k39 inner circle, k39 outer circle, k3, k49 and get off at Tianwai Village station to reach the entrance of Taishan Tianwai Village. 3. Take bus route 19 and get off at Tianzhufeng Scenic Area station to reach the entrance of Tianzhufeng. 4. Take bus routes k16, k49 and get off at Taohuayu station to reach the entrance of Taohuayu. [Internal Transportation] Walking is the only way of transportation within the scenic area.
