There is a stone archway outside the north gate of the inner city of Qufu, with the words "Eternal Spring" written on it. Continuing north along the road under the archway, the trees on both sides gradually become denser, and the surrounding environment becomes more quiet and solemn. Unknowingly, I have stepped into the path leading to the tomb of Confucius, passing through the gate of the Holy Forest and the Zhusui Bridge.

It is built in a low saddle between Feilongyan and Xiangfengling, with two peaks standing side by side, as if the gate of heaven opens by itself. Created by Taoist Zhang Zhichun in the fifth year of Yuanzhongtong (1264), the gate is a pavilion-style building with a stone arched doorway inscribed with the title "Nantianmen". Adorned with red walls and covered with yellow glazed tiles, it is magnificent. On the side of the gate, there is a couplet that says "The gate opens to the nine heavens, looking up at the magnificent sights of the three realms; The stairs are elevated for ten thousand levels, overlooking the thousands of peaks and marvels".
