1. Take the Kunming-Yuanyang shuttle bus at Kunming South Passenger Station, which operates three times a day at 10:20, 12:30, and 19:00. The ticket price is 139 yuan per person and the journey takes 5-6 hours.
2. Most of the buses from Kunming South Passenger Station go to Nansha Town, Xinjie Town, which have convenient transportation. There are also mini buses (10 yuan/person, departing from 7:00 to 20:00) specially running between the two towns. There are vans available between Xinjie Town and the entrance of the scenic area, and between the entrance and various scenic spots, and the ticket price ranges from 5 to 10 yuan.
3. You can also take a bus from Kunming to Jianshui or Gejiu, and then transfer to Yuanyang.
