Introduction

The Thousand-Year Yao Village is located in Nangang and was first built during the Song Dynasty, with a history of over a thousand years. It is one of the most unique, oldest, and largest Yao villages in the world, and is known as the "Number One Yao Village in the World". The ancient village was built on the mountain and now only has around 200 residents and 368 houses, gates, walls, stone paths, and stone coffins from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Yao dance "Yao Tribal Dance" originated here, and you can enjoy scenes of traditional farming, weddings, and other Yao cultural activities. It is truly a world wonder of architecture.

Transportation
Take the Lian Nan County-Qiannian Yaozhai Tourism Line to Nangang Qiannian Yaozhai Bus Station, and walk about 577 meters to reach the destination.
