Introduction

Tao Lai River is located in the Heihe river system, formerly known as "Hu Can River", which means the gift from heaven, also known as "North Big River". The river originates from the Qilian Mountains and flows through the territory of Jiayuguan for about 35 kilometers. Due to long-term erosion, the riverbed has gradually widened or sunk year by year, forming a large canyon with a depth between 50 and 800 meters, and the terrain is dangerous.

All day (All year round, Monday-Sunday from January 1st to December 31st).

Transportation

Located 7 kilometers south of Jiayuguan Pass, within the first pier scenic area of the Great Wall, only charter cars are available. Chartering to Jiayuguan Pass, overhanging Great Wall and the first pier of the Great Wall costs 150-180 yuan, while chartering a single scenic spot costs 50 yuan.
