Introduction

Puzhehei Swan Lake is an ecologically-oriented lake area mainly composed of karst peaks, lake groups, cave groups, and wetland ecosystems. The ecological resources here are very rich, especially wetland organisms, with over 100 species of migratory birds numbering over 10,000, including geese, swans, herons, egrets, storks, and more. Since October 1, 2013, Puzhehei Swan Lake has been open to the public, with 4 time periods available each day for visitors to stroll or take electric cars or boats to tour the lake area. Here, visitors can appreciate the magnificent scene of birds flying together, sing and dance, feel the harmony between humans and nature, humans and animals, and enjoy the pleasant journey brought by the beautiful scenery of Puzhehei.

Transportation

[External Transportation] 1. Bus From Kunming to Puzhehei via Qiubei: Take a bus from Kunming East Bus Station, which takes about 300 kilometers. Departure times and ticket prices are 9:00 (137 yuan), 10:00 (114 yuan), 11:00 (114 yuan), 12:30 (137 yuan), 14:00 (114 yuan), 20:10 (138 yuan), 20:30 (138 yuan). The last two buses offer sleeping berths, while others have only seats. From Qiubei County to Puzhehei scenic spot, there are 13 kilometers. You can also take a bus from Qiubei Bus Station to Puzhehei, which runs every day from 8:00 to 17:30. The fare is 2 yuan per person, with a bus departing every 30 minutes to an hour. 2. Plane You can fly to Puzhehei Airport in Wenshan, which is more than 80 kilometers away from the scenic spot. You need to take a through bus from Wenshan to Qiubei (7:00-18:00, departing every 10 minutes, and the fare is 31 yuan per person) and then transfer to a bus to Puzhehei scenic spot. This travel route is a bit complicated, so it is not recommended. You can also take a taxi directly from the airport to Puzhehei, which costs 100 to 200 yuan.
