Introduction
The Horgos Port is a port located within the Tashkurghan Tajik Autonomous County, with an altitude of over 5000 meters, making it one of the highest-altitude ports in the world. It was already an important pass on the ancient Silk Road more than 1000 years ago. It is the only land entry and exit channel from China to Pakistan, and is also one of the important gateways to South Asia and even Europe. However, the environment here is extremely harsh, hence it is called the "Valley of Death". Tourists who arrive at the Horgos Port often visit the China-Pakistan boundary marker No. 7 to take pictures and enjoy the magnificent scenery around.
