Dongji Island Miaozi Lake Island, Dongji Town, Putuo District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province
4.5

Introduction

This fisherman's painting exhibition hall was created by the island's women, mainly using watercolor paintings, as well as some oil paintings and blown plastic paper cut prints. The exhibition hall is divided into three areas: the new artist exhibition hall, the old artist retrospective exhibition hall, and the market sales exhibition hall. The space is filled with fishermen's paintings, and if a tourist likes a particular piece, they can purchase it directly. In addition, the exhibition hall also functions as a studio, with various paints and brushes available. Walking through the exhibition hall, one can appreciate many works such as "Busy with Rope" and "Sea Babies." These vivid images depict the scene and emotional atmosphere of the fishermen's families. At the same time, we can also imagine the indomitable character and broad vision deep-rooted in the fishermen's hearts, as well as the colorful ocean world and living scene that they depicted with their brushes. These works vividly depict the islanders' spirit of hard work, perseverance, strength, and courage.
