Introduction

The Dàshùwān Stone Houses on Mount Dongfújiāo are a must-see attraction on the Ring Island Road. These stone houses are built according to the terrain of the mountain and are arranged in an orderly and charming way, forming a fishing village that looks like a huge castle quietly guarding the seaside in the distance. Although most of the stone houses have been abandoned today, they are still one of the most unique attractions in the Dongji Archipelago. These stone houses have helped fishermen survive countless typhoon seasons, and now they bring incredible surprises and joys to tourists.
