Introduction

Located on Shanlu Street in Miaozihu, Dongji Historical and Cultural Museum comprises three exhibition halls – the Lisbon Maru Memorial Hall, the Folk Customs Exhibition Hall and the Fishermen's Paintings Exhibition Hall – with nearly 240 exhibits on display. These exhibits vividly reflect the locals' love for life and the unique regional characteristics of the museum. Not only does the museum integrate artistry, entertainment, knowledge and cultural significance, but its location also earns it the reputation of being "the most eastern beauty".

Transportation

You can take bus routes 3, 6, 7, 9, 13, 15, 20, or 29 to Banshengdong Station in Zhoushan, then walk a few minutes to reach the Banshengdong Pier in Shenjiamen, where you can take a boat to Miaozihu Island. The boat departs from Shenjiamen at 8:30 every day and returns at 11:00. The cost for the lower cabin is 100 yuan, the middle cabin is 130 yuan, and the upper cabin is 150 yuan, taking about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Miaozihu Island, you can walk to your destination.
