Introduction
Baishuiyang is a national-level scenic spot that is on par with the World Geopark. It is also one of the top ten famous tourism brands in Fujian province. Among the five major scenic areas of Yuanyang Creek, Baishuiyang is one of the most unique natural landscapes. The riverbed here is composed of flat rocks and is pure and free of sand. When viewed from above, it looks like a huge flat farmland lying quietly between the mountains. Locals also call it "Xianba Creek". In 2007, Baishuiyang was ranked third in the top ten tourist routes in China by CCTV's Perfect Holiday program, and its unique Mandarin duck and macaque nature reserve has gained worldwide fame.
