Introduction

Chengyang Eight Villages Scenic Area is located in Sanjiang County, covering an area of 12.5 square kilometers. It is the largest tourist attraction in the area, as well as one of the first batch of scenic villages in China, and a popular ethnic cultural tourist destination. The scenic area consists of eight natural villages, known as "Chengyang Eight Villages", with major attractions including the Chengyang Yongji Bridge, one of the four most famous historic bridges in the world, as well as the highly acclaimed Heilong Bridge, Puxiu Bridge, Wanshou Bridge and other wind and rain bridges. In addition, the scenic area also has an ancient waterwheel group and a large number of distinctive Dong ethnic diaojiaolou and drum towers and other buildings. Chengyang Eight Villages Scenic Area is one of China's key cultural heritage sites and has high ornamental and historical value.
