Hongshitantan, a rare kind of red moss, grows in a specific area of Bipinggou at an altitude of 3,000 to 4,500 meters. It requires special geological and air quality conditions to survive. If you want to appreciate the most valuable natural landscape of red stones in Bipinggou, Hongshitantan is the best choice for you. It is located between Longwanghai and Shanghaizi Reception Center, with large red stones like pearls embedded in stream valleys and forests, making your journey more exciting.

Transportation
Transfer to the sightseeing bus at the tourist ticket center in the scenic area and enter the scenic area to Shanghaizi Reception Center (about 26 kilometers in total) on a good asphalt road. Along the way from the Shanghaizi Reception Center to the Panyang Lake scenic spot, you can choose to take the scenic electric car or walk (9 kilometers in total) on a good cement road.
