Introduction

Luxi River is a tributary of Xinjiang River in Jiangxi Province. It got its name from passing through Shanglu Town in Shangrao County. There is a large Aokou Reservoir upstream of the river, which is the largest artificial lake in the Shangrao area and originates from the north side of Wuyi Mountain. The downstream of the Luxi River passes through Shixi, hence it is also called Shixi River. Finally, the Luxi River intersects with Xinjiang River in Shixi, Qianshan County.
