Introduction

Located in Shijiaying Township in the southwest of Beijing's Fangshan District, Sheng Lianshan (also known as Lianhuashan) has an elevation of 1030 meters and was formerly known as Mount Tai in ancient times. The entire mountain range is shaped like a lotus petal, hence its name. The scenic area was originally named after the Shengmi Shitang, but was later changed to Sheng Lianshan. The natural scenery here is extremely magnificent, with extraordinary geological wonders and excellent vegetation, making it one of the "most unique mountains in Beijing" and one of the "Five Small Mountains of Western Beijing."
