Natural scenery

Introduction

Puzhehei is a plateau freshwater lake, also known as the Lantern Lake or "Pearl Lake". Its name comes from the Yi language, meaning "a water pond full of fish and shrimp". The lake is clear and transparent, and visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of thousands of acres of lotus blossoms on a boat in summer. The length of the lake is about 1.43 kilometers, the widest part is about 0.7 kilometers, and the shoreline is about 20 kilometers long. The entire lake covers an area of about 5.3 square kilometers, and it has an irregular "ten" shape. The general depth of the lake is 4 meters, and both the lake bottom and the shore are mudflats, where grass carp, silver carp, shrimp, crabs, and other aquatic creatures are common.

"External transportation: 1. Bus: From Kunming East Bus Station, take the Kunming-Qiubei bus to Puzhehei, with a total distance of about 300 kilometers. Departure times and ticket prices are as follows: 9:00 (137 yuan), 10:00 (114 yuan), 11:00 (114 yuan), 12:30 (137 yuan), 14:00 (114 yuan), 20:10 (138 yuan), 20:30 (138 yuan). The last two buses are sleeper buses, and the other buses have seats. From Qiubei County to Puzhehei Scenic Area, it is 13 kilometers away. You can also take a bus from Qiubei Bus Station to Puzhehei. The bus runs every half hour to an hour, from 8:00 to 17:30, with a fare of 2 yuan. 2. Airplane: You can take a flight to Wenshan Puzhehei Airport, which is in Yanshan County, more than 80 kilometers away from the scenic area. After arriving at Qiubei County, you need to take a bus to Puzhehei Scenic Area. It is slightly inconvenient and not recommended. You can also take a taxi from the airport directly to Puzhehei, costing 100-200 yuan. In-scenic transportation: Then take a boat from the scenic area pier to tour the lake. 3. Train: Take the high-speed train from Kunming South Station directly to Puzhehei Station. After arriving at Puzhehei Station, you can take the No.8 bus from the bus station adjacent to Puzhehei Station to the terminal station."
