Introduction
Heshangtao Scenic Area is the most unique place in the Sijiao Island Scenic Area. Legend has it that during Tang Dynasty, a young monk named Xuan Neng fell into the water on his way to Japan with Jianzhen and was stranded here for thirty years. To commemorate him, the locals named the place Heshangtao. There are many tourist attractions here, such as Heshang Stone, Chaoyang Pavilion, Haijiao Teahouse, and Buxu Terrace. Walking on the kilometer-long wooden plank road, you can see the surging sea and the waves crashing on the rocks, forming a natural landscape. In the scenic area, there is also a prominent cliff, and a glass platform hangs outside the cliff. Standing on the platform and looking down at the sea is very thrilling. This is a unique scenic area worth visiting. Address Nanchaoyang, Wulong Township, Sijiao Island, Shengsi County, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province
