Introduction

Mount Diyi, also known as Nanshan or Duliangshan, faces the Yangtze River for thousands of miles and is backed by nine beautiful peaks. Due to its beautiful environment, it has been a popular destination for scholars and students since ancient times. As early as the Han Dynasty, when Kong Anguo, a descendant of Confucius, served as the prefect of Linhuai, he established the "Chongsheng Academy" here. In 1985, it was officially named "Mount Diyi Park" and was rated as a national forest park. Since the Song and Yuan Dynasties, many literary figures, scholars, and government officials have visited here, leaving behind a large number of inscriptions and steles. In 1996, it was rated as a national forest park, and in 1999, it was designated as a provincial scenic spot. Two-thirds of the ten scenic spots in Xuyi are located in Mount Diyi, including Glass Spring Soaking Moon, Mount Diyi Nostalgia, Apricot Blossom Garden in Spring Afternoon, Ruiguan in Clear Morning, Meeting Scenery Pavilion Remains, and Turtle Mountain Temple Evening Bell. It has both natural and cultural landscape characteristics. Now, it has become the provincial Mount Diyi scenic spot. The admission fee is 20 yuan, and accommodation is convenient. Several hotels are a good choice for passing by, such as Jingu Garden and Xuyi Hotel. In terms of transportation, only cars can reach Xuyi. After arriving at the bus station, you can take bus No. 1 or No. 4 to the north and tell the driver to get off at Mount Diyi. You can also take a taxi, which is usually three yuan, and five yuan during holidays.
